The hexagonal shape of the cells of the bees’ honeycomb has intrigued laypeople and scientists for ages. Each honey variety has its own hexagon variation mimicking the shape of the jar and would be printed in gold foil. It is a totally dry, solvent free process and paper & board says that foil stamped packaging can be recycled. The hexagon can also be used as a repeating pattern for other marketing materials.
